Welcome to tinycamp. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) cover your use of tinycamp.co and the weekly email newsletter we send (together, the “Service”). By signing up or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What tinycamp is

tinycamp is a weekly email that recommends kid-friendly activities and events in the Los Angeles area, personalized by your kids' ages and your neighborhood. We gather event details from public sources and organizers and curate a selection for you.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and a parent, guardian, or caregiver to sign up. The Service is intended for adults. By signing up, you confirm that the information you provide is yours to share.

Information you give us

To personalize your emails, you give us your email address, your zip code, your first name, and your children's first names and birth month and year. Please keep this information accurate. Any information you provide about a child is provided by you as that child's parent or guardian. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Emails and unsubscribing

When you confirm your signup, we'll start sending you the weekly newsletter and occasional related messages. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, and we'll stop sending.

Event information is not a guarantee

We do our best to keep event details accurate, but we don't run the events and we can't guarantee that times, prices, locations, age recommendations, or availability are correct or up to date. Always check with the organizer before you go. tinycamp isn't responsible for third-party events, venues, or anything that happens when you attend.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the Service. That includes scraping or copying our content at scale, reselling it, signing other people up without their permission, interfering with the Service, or using it for anything unlawful.

Our content

The tinycamp name, the curation and editorial selection, and the look and feel of the Service belong to tinycamp. You're welcome to read and share our emails with friends. You may not republish them commercially without our permission.

Third-party links

Our emails and site link to third-party websites and venues we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

No warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don't promise the Service will always be available, error-free, or suited to your particular needs.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, tinycamp won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or from any event you learn about through it. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100).

Changes

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and unsubscribe at any time. We may suspend or end the Service, or a particular account, if needed to protect the Service or comply with the law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
